A detailed look at the new features

Enhancing Foxit SDK’s already powerful annotation capacity, we’ve added the ability to search annotations and set the z-order of an annotation. These two features will help users find a specific comment within a PDF and to reorder the overlap of annotations.

One of the most frequently requested features, Redaction support, has finally made its way into Foxit PDF SDK. This feature is a must for companies dealing with documents which contain sensitive information such as faces, names, and bank account numbers. Redact tools will enable software developers to add the ability to obscure text improving security and compliance.

We’ve also added the ability to remove metadata and page objects by creating two new APIs. This will enable developers to implement new features into their applications.
