MobilePDF SDK: A Rapid Development Kit for mobile apps

Foxit® Software, a leading software provider of fast, affordable, secure and connected PDF solutions, introduced its Rapid Development Kit (RDK) for mobile PDF apps earlier this month. Already recognized as having one of the fastest and most powerful rendering engines on the market, Foxit created its RDK to dramatically reduce developer workloads, enabling them to complete projects more simply with fewer lines of code. The  Foxit MobilePDF SDK, including a high-level API and built-in UI, allows developers to have a prototypes up-and running in fewer than five minutes.

The Foxit PDF Core API is the basis for the Rapid Development Kit, containing the functions used in the Viewer Control and UI Extensions Component. The Platform API can be used independently for document rendering, analysis, text extraction, text search, annotation creation, manipulation and much more. The mobile PDF SDK has already shown better font and layout accuracy than other comparable products, with impressive search capability.

The advanced viewer control utility includes a set of easy-to-use APIs for displaying PDF files on iOS and Android. Working together with core APIs, viewer control provides fast and high quality PDF rendering, zooming, scrolling, page view modes and page navigation.
