Our Commitment to Giving Back, and How You Can Help
As a company and as individuals, we believe that it is important to give back to our local communities. Last year, that included doing things like sponsoring a child through the one.laptop.org program, doing The Bloody Long Walk (a 35Km charity walk to raise money for the Australian Mitochondrial Disease Foundation), and more.
This year, we want to do even more, but we can’t do it alone. Which is why we’re looking for your help. Here’s how you can help as well as more information on our commitment to giving back.

Why and How we are Committed to Giving Back
As a technology company, we believe it’s crucial to give back, especially when it comes to providing equal opportunity to children across the world. To us, that meant donating to charities that give children access to tech, improve their situation through better access to the internet, and more.
But that’s not all. As individuals, we’re highly motivated to give back to our local communities. This includes taking part in charity events such as The Bloody Long Walk we mentioned above, and other volunteering opportunities. This year, we’re also looking to give back to our local communities by accepting proposals from our team members to donate to local causes and charities.
With a team divided across 4 continents and 10 time zones, that’s a lot of communities in which we can make a difference!
What Our Team is Saying About Giving Back
I don’t think elders receive enough attention nowadays. When I’m not travelling for work, I spend a couple of hours every other Friday at my local nursing home.
