Trial License Keys and Previous Trial Versions
Under normal circumstances, a user can download and install a 30-day trial version of any Foxit product for each machine. Once that time has elapsed, the evaluation license will expire, and the software will be cease to function until it is activated by entering a full license key.
If a new major update to the software is released (e.g., version 11 but not version 10.3), users are entitled to install trial copies of the latest version with a new 30-day time limit. Each major update includes new and enhanced features. As such, it is important that potential customers have the chance to evaluate the latest versions of Foxit software, as these will include the most advanced features and be compatible with the most recent versions of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Mac), third party software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat) and development environments (e.g., Delphi XE).
If you have difficulty installing an evaluation version of a Foxit product, and believe that this is due to the expiration of a previous evaluation version (i.e., a trial of a previous major version of the software), please contact Foxit support.
