PDF SDK for Web SDK 7.0 now part of our single core API

PDF SDK for Web 7.0 is now part of our single core API. This means that you can develop applications in the same way as our desktop and mobile SDKs so long as you know JavaScript. Our PDF SDK for Web 7.0 UI is fully customizable within the UI extension. You can use the prebuilt UI that we have created and pick and choose different functionality for your users as you wish. It’s as easy as adding 2 lines to code to remove unwanted functionality as shown in the .gif below!

Fastest web based PDF SDK on the market

Your document workflows are easy to control with PDF SDK for Web 7.0. Whether on a server or client side, your documents will render faster than ever before with our performance enhancements. We tested PDF SDK for Web 7.0 versus our old version and a major competitor, and found that 7.0 outperforms them on 86% of tests that include different languages, fonts & annotations, as well as small, medium and large files!

Touchscreen capability

We’ve listened to your feedback and Foxit PDF SDK for Web 7.0 now has touchscreen functionality. Zoom, pan and sign forms with a stylus or your finger on a touchscreen device and our responsive UI will deliver.

We’ve also updated the documentation to reflect the revamped demo which you can check out here.

Beyond this, a number of bugs have also been fixed to ensure that our Web based PDF SDK is the most secure on the market.
