Foxit PDF SDK for Desktop 10.1.0 introduces a range of new features and performance enhancements to empower developers with more robust PDF processing capabilities for increased efficiency and productivity. Key features include enhanced preflight functionality ensuring compliance with PDF/E and PDF/X standards, richer interactive experience with 3D content by resetting the default view and retrieving/presetting 3D views, streamlined conversion workflows leveraging multi-threaded processing and flexible library initialization, and robust OCR advancements encompassing skew correction, image denoising, and multi-core processing support. It also features significant performance boosts in document optimization and form file import processes. New APIs have also been added to broaden the functionalities in search, image processing, text processing, and more.
Web SDK Upgrades
This release adopts dynamic WASM library loading method and refactors the bookmark module for enhanced performance. This new version now supports dynamic XFA form filling and 3D rendering/viewing, allowing for more engaging work with your PDFs. The annotation feature has been enhanced to enable the selection of multiple objects, setting of appearance streams, and reordering of annotations within the stack. Editing capabilities have been improved, enabling users to edit text with custom fonts in the UI and set styles for the AddText and EditText tools. Forms can now be exported to/from JSON, with notifications upon data import completion. In terms of signature features, users can now specify the signing time and signer information during signing and create groups of signatures using a single /V dictionary. Desktop SDK
Our desktop SDK now supports PDF/E and PDF/X standards in preflight checks. We have also optimized the conversion workflows and OCR capabilities by introducing the multi-threaded/multi-core processing capabilities and additional configuration options.
